Oil Seed Extractions Ltd is a New Zealand-based company that produces oil seeds for export. They grow Flax, Hemp and Borage in addition to Black Currant which can be found nowhere else on earth! All four types of seed are grown under forward contract with the majority production happening close by at home – just outside Christchurch where they’ve got this special soil and climate combination going on right now.
All locally produced seed is monitored by our parent company Midlands Seed Ltd, which means that we can ensure best practice on farms with a resultant guarantee of quality. This allows for full traceability from original seed going into the ground all through production and packaging to export markets!
